Welcome to Rosais Acres!  I am located in North Central Iowa and breed AKC LUA and HUA Dalmatians and AQHA Quarter Horses.  My family has bred dogs for over 30 years but I personally discovered the love of breeding both dogs and western pleasure horses while pursuing my Bachelor of Science at Iowa State University (ISU).  I have a degree in Animal Science from ISU with a focus on the genetics and reproduction of equine and companion animals.  In addition to this, I have worked in several veterinary clinics, on multiple horse breeding farms, and have volunteered as a foster home for a breed specific rescue to help rehabilitate my second favorite dog breed, the Cane Corso.  This background has greatly helped me to provide the best care possible for all my pets, big and small.  As a breeder, I strive to have 100% transparency with all of my puppy parents so in an effort to achieve this I will share every step of the dog breeding and puppy rearing process, be it the good, the bad, or the ugly.

My dogs are my pets first and foremost and thus are cared for as such.  I only want to produce puppies that have the best chance of a happy, healthy life and therefore ensure that all dogs pass their genetic and health tests.  In addition to this, all dogs and the offspring produced by the pairings have a Coefficient of Inbreeding  (COI)

All puppies are raised in my home and are exposed to a wide variety of stimuli and situations to best set them up for life.  All puppies also come with the following:

  • Limited AKC Registration
  • 2 Year Health Guarantee
  • 30 Days of Free Trupanion Pet Insurance
  • Dewclaws Removed
  • First Set of Puppy Shots
  • Dewormed
  • Microchip
  • BAER Hearing Test Results
  • Hyperuricosuria Test Results (If Applicable)
